Official Announcement: Koremen LLC Now Offers Home Modification Services Through Indiana's BDS Waiver Program

We are thrilled to announce that, starting July 1st, 2024, Koremen LLC has been accepted into the Indiana Bureau of Disabilities Services (BDS) waiver program! This means we can now offer our Home Modification Assessments (SPEC) and Inspections (EXAM) to individuals with developmental disabilities across the state of Indiana, funded through the BDS waiver program.

If you have a loved one with a developmental disability, a home modification assessment can help ensure their safety and independence within their own home. Please consult with your case manager about home modifications within the waiver to learn more about what is allowed.

If you are a current case manager at an agency that provides BDS waiver support, you should start to see Koremen LLC listed as a provider for Home Modification Evaluation (HME) Services.

Our Home Modification Services

Our experienced team of Certified Aging In Place Specialists (CAPS) will work with your case manager identifying areas where modifications can improve accessibility and safety. This may include:

Entrance modifications: ramps, wider doorways, reverse swing of doors
Bathroom modifications: grab bars, shower seats, step-in or roll-in showers, flooring, ventilation
Kitchen modifications: lowered countertops, accessible appliances, cabinet hardware,
Safety features: handrails, improved lighting
